Joystep provides NDIS personal care support across Greater Sydney, helping you manage everyday personal activities safely and with dignity while maintaining as much independence as possible.

Depending on your individual needs, a Joystep support worker can provide hands-on assistance, supervision or verbal prompting with personal care activities. We respect your privacy, preferences and right to make your own decisions throughout the support.

Personal care support may include:

• Showering and bathing

• Dressing and changing clothes

• Grooming and personal hygiene

• Toileting and continence support

• Assistance with eating and drinking

• Mobility and transfers

• Prompting with personal care routines

• Medication prompting, where included in your agreed supports 

• Preparing for work, study, appointments or community participation​

Our approach to personal care

We understand that personal care is both private and personal. Wherever possible, we will respect your preferences regarding your support worker's gender, language, cultural background and communication style.

Our multilingual team speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Malay, providing culturally responsive support that helps you feel comfortable and understood.
